Established c.o2_design in 2002 after working at editorial design studios and publishing houses.
Formative experiences include working at cozfish (under book designer Shin Sobue) and the Gentosha design studio.
As a contract designer, long-term collaborations include Hayakawa Publishing, The Nihon Kabushiki Shimbun, and Toyo Keizai.

c.o2_design 大津千秋
東京を拠点に活動するグラフィックデザイナー。Web・ブックデザインをメインに、2000年代から現在に至るまでメディアの枠を超えて視覚表現を追究
■ 経歴
多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン専攻卒。ブックデザイナー祖父江慎氏に師事、コズフィッシュ、幻冬舎デザイン室勤務を経て独立。2002年にc.o2_design 設立。
独立後はフリーランスとして活動しつつ契約デザイナーとして、早川書房、日本株式新聞社、東洋経済新報社ほかと共働。
■ 実績
コミック、ライトノベル、翻訳書の装丁から、Webデザイン、ゲームのUI設計まで、紙とデジタルの境界を行き来するデザインワークを展開。トレンドの変遷や環境の変化に縛られない柔軟な思考で、数多くのプロジェクトを手がける。
■ 現在の活動
近年はブックデザインのほか、旅の記憶を起点に「本作り」を再定義する試みとして、大判タブロイド判を用いた多言語アートブックプロジェクトを始動。
■ ライフスタイル
1971年、東京都三鷹市で生まれ、埼玉県所沢市で育つ。
80〜90年代のエンターテインメントや文化の影響を多く受けつつ 祖父母の住む茨城県や福島県で海や山に親しみ成長。 現在の活動拠点は東京都。
日々の関心は、旅行、写真、建築、美術館巡り、東京の甘味処探訪。犬と過ごす時間。
